Amni and TotalEnergies Approve $800 Million Offshore Gas Development in Nigeria

Independent Nigerian upstream producer Amni International and energy major TotalEnergies have approved an 800 million dollar offshore natural gas project in Nigeria. The proposed development was confirmed by state oil firm NNPC Limited, highlighting continued commitment to major offshore energy investments in the country.

The venture represents a substantial collaboration between domestic operator Amni and TotalEnergies, operating alongside national petroleum authorities. Following this approval, the 800 million dollar programme is positioned to advance natural gas operations and commercial development within Nigeria's offshore energy sector.
