Amni and TotalEnergies Approve $800 Million Offshore Gas Project in Nigeria

Nigerian upstream operator Amni International and energy major TotalEnergies have approved a proposed 800 million dollar offshore natural gas project in Nigeria. The development was formally announced by state oil firm NNPC Ltd, marking another key offshore energy initiative advancing in the country.

The substantial financial commitment reflects ongoing commercial collaboration between indigenous producers, international operators, and the national oil company to develop offshore natural gas resources. With approvals confirmed, the project is positioned to progress into its formal execution and operational phases.

For vessel operators, offshore contractors, and marine procurement teams, this project will stimulate demand for specialised supply chain services.
