OPEC Reports Significant Rise in Crude Output for June 2026

OPEC 12 crude production rose by 3,051 kb/d between May and June 2026, driven by notable output gains across Middle Eastern member states.

According to the OPEC Monthly Oil Market Report published in July 2026, total crude production across the OPEC 12 member nations rose substantially between May and June 2026. Aggregate output expanded by 3,051 thousand barrels per day month on month, set against ongoing movements in world demand for crude oil.

The overall increase was driven primarily by Middle Eastern producers. The United Arab Emirates recorded the largest rise, adding 1,642 thousand barrels per day, followed by Kuwait with an increase of 880 thousand barrels per day. Iraq and Iran also contributed to the upward trend, growing their respective outputs by 446 thousand barrels per day and 155 thousand barrels per day.

For vessel operators, offshore contractors, and procurement teams, expanding production volumes typically signal higher regional export activity and sustained demand for offshore support services. Monitoring these production trends allows technical and procurement specialists to better forecast logistics requirements, marine equipment needs, and vessel availability across key shipping routes.
