TotalEnergies and Nigerian exploration and production company AMNI have reached the final investment decision to advance the Ima gas development project in Nigeria. The commitment formally sanctions the development, clearing the path for engineering and offshore field execution activities to commence.

The project aligns TotalEnergies, an international energy major active across oil and gas developments, with indigenous operator AMNI. By approving the capital deployment for the Ima field, both partners reaffirm their focus on expanding upstream natural gas production within Nigerian waters.
