TotalEnergies and AMNI Reach Final Investment Decision on Ima Gas Field

TotalEnergies and AMNI have reached the Final Investment Decision for Nigeria's Ima gas development to supply the Nigeria LNG liquefaction plant.

TotalEnergies and its partner AMNI have taken the Final Investment Decision for the development of the Ima gas field in Nigeria. TotalEnergies operates the asset with a 40 per cent interest, alongside joint venture partner AMNI which holds the remaining 60 per cent stake.

The primary objective of the offshore development is to deliver feedgas to the Nigeria LNG liquefaction facility. Progressing the project into its development phase will help secure long-term feedstock for the plant, contributing to the continued utilisation of key gas export infrastructure.

For marine vessel operators, offshore contractors, and procurement teams, this project sanction creates upcoming operational requirements across the supply chain. The development will require support services including marine logistics, offshore vessel chartering, and technical procurement to deliver the necessary offshore infrastructure and maintain field operations.
